This season, two piece prom dresses are all the rage. Even for plus size dresses, two-piece is the style. Rarely do I disappoint. I understand strapless evening gowns, figure hugging dresses and all the rest, but some styles are just going overboard. I have never seen a two piece prom dress that doesn’t look tacky. There are shimmering gowns that are just lovely, but two piece prom dresses with sequins are hideous. My favorite two piece dresses are the ones that are made out of diaphanous white silk. Two piece prom dresses made of flowing silk, combined with the right heels and the perfect makeup, can create a sensational look.
