Improving Study Skills And Habits - Methods And Tips

Think about what ways of approaching information or receiving it or remembering it work for a person like you: Do you learn best through music? Sing and rhyme your study materials. Put the radio/stereo/ipod on and follow the beat or rhythm when you are trying to memorize.

Maybe improving your study skills will include allowing yourself to move around. If you are what is called a kinesthetic learner, you learn best by being active, by writing notes on the board, by acting out scenarios or situations, or by physically taking part in your success. If you are learning something on a computer, for example, you might learn best by doing it yourself, not by having the teacher, tutor, or helper click away on the keyboard for you.

How To Dress Properly?

Learning how to dress is an important part of the education you get as a child. Different situations demnd different styles of clothing. You can think about it what you want, but the style of your clothes determines the impression you make on other people. It always amazes me that with all of the events taking place in the world nowadays, the age-old crisis of how to dress still can cause more havoc than a natural disaster. Ask a teenage girl what she thinks of the recent hurricanes and you’ll get pity and disbelief, but if you ask her what she thinks she should wear on her Friday night date, she is likely to turn it into a dramatic event. How in the world did society ever allow the drama of how to dress become such a dilemma in our daily lives? Read the rest of the article at how to dress.
