Lists Of 1st Grade Spelling Words

The writing is pretty basic at that level. It isn’t so important to include lists of 1st grade spelling words as a requirement of what the student must write. What really is important is to help the student grasp to write smoothly and clearly. This is absolutely critical and material. The student, like with their reading, must learn to fathom confident about writing at the first grade level before any more progress can be made. Otherwise, you will just make them feel nervous and apprehensive, that will not help learning at all. Master The Art Of Spelling With An Online Spelling Test

An online spelling test will usually give the child a choice of spellings of particular words. These words will be words that the child should be able to spell considering their age and grade level.

The child will make their choice of right spelling out of four or five plausible choices. The test continues on in this fashion. Once the online spelling test is entire the student will be graded.

Any errors that were made will be accentuated and the child along with their parent can then focus on those words and whatever patterns may be revealed. For some children it may be that they are sounding the word out incorrectly and forgetting a letter within a word. This is particularly popular with words that have a silent letter.
